We were lucky to host Spencer's parents for our first Thanksgiving at home. They flew in from CO on Monday and left Friday. We had a great week shopping, eating, and being shown all kinds of cool places Steve remembers from growing up in SoCal.

Shep hiding under the table. I love this dog! He is my little boy (even at 11 1/2 years old). He is my side kick and my little buddy. He is such a sweet heart and so opinionated!
But fear not...as soon at Steve took over carving the turkey, Shep was right there to make sure he didn't drop anything. He has his grandparents wrapped around his little paw...and knows just how to work the system. He is one smart doggy!!
And after a wonderful dinner....we had dessert!! Cheesecake and apple pie-lets, with fresh fruit, real whipped cream and homemade vanilla ice cream!!! We go all out in this family!! Looks delicious!!
