My 2nd cousin's daughter is in 1st grade. Her class read the children's story Flat Stanley and then sent their own versions of Flat Stanley to family members for them to show around their town. Well, Flat Stanley made his first stop in California with my Aunt and then made a visit to Fort Collins. I enjoyed showing him around town and taking him to class with me.
