For its Root Root Root for the Royals...The Omaha Royals that is... The minor league team who happened to be playing the Colorado Springs Sky Sox the week we were there... Which team do we cheer for?? Good question.
Spencer and I actually attended two games while in Omaha. The first game we sat in the lower seats and in the same section as the major league recruiters. There were recruiters there from the Houston Astros, the Phillies, and Red Sox. From what we could tell there were another 3 recruiters there but I couldn't see their bags to find out what team they were there from. But it was a very neat and special experience.
